I am usually pretty good at this "time of the month". It usually just comes and goes...well, ever since I started taking my Happy Pills, anyway. But for some reason this month is not sood good. My stupid period arrived yesterday and OH MY GOD I am a raging BITCH!! I can't help it! My poor husband! I am ready to KILL him! I even mildy snapped at Chelsea in the car tonight, which is actually rare for me. Ugh. I hate myself like this. Luckily it won't last long, it never does, really. If youasked my husband, he'd say I am a bitch all the time (he he) but this is different, I feel real live RAGE. I feel like screaming, yelling, crying and hitting. I should just go to bed early tonight, there is not much else to do and lord knows he doesn't want to hang out with me. I ALMOST fell bad for him, but I can't fully because all I actually feel is the RAGE!!
How do you deal with your PMS?

Potty Success/Stupid Shrek
We had some potty success the other day. I let Chelsea run around without her diaper for a few hours the other morning, and I asked her very frequently if she had to pee. She said NO each time. Finally I was on the phone with her Daddy at work and she sat down and peed! It wasn't much pee, but we did a dance, clapped, etc and took it upstairs to flush and wipe (and dribble all the way up). So we did all that stuff, and then she got all excited and wanted to use her other potty, the one we keep in the bathroom. So she did! A bigger dribble this time! So then I ran her a bath and while the tub was filling, she peed again! This was going great! Then when I wasn't paying attention, she peed again, halfon the floor, half in the potty, and felt really bad for the pee on the floor, but I said it was all good, she was doing really well! So she bathed, and got dressed, and I put her in big girl undies, and easy to remove shorts, and we talked about not peeing on Mommy's floor, and she agreed, and asked to watch Shrek 2 (not Shrek 1, she hates that one). Five minutes into Shrek, I was on the computer and looked over to see puddle on my floor and a girl in a trance, not realizing she was soaked. Stupid Shrek.

Oops...
I wasn't posting cause I was so busy not potty training my daughter! I am such a loser, I am soooo excited to see that someone actually read my blog! Woo hoo, thanks "Mom Unscripted"...I would totally link you, but can't seem to find your site....will keep trying though!
So the week flew by. Tuesday we had a playdate with my sister in law and her daughter, then wednesday I worked all day, the thursday it was off to the library for story time and crafts, the friday it was a party for the library group for the end of season. Is it mean that I am glad it is over (for now)? It's great and all, but I just think Chelsea is too young to really get it, you know? She LOVES the crafts, but won't sit with the kids for story time. Eh, she's 2, who cares! It starts up again in September (the end, I think) so we will have to see when the time comes.
She learned to ask "why" the other day. I mean, the kid has MAD vocab skills, but she finally discovered how to use "why" in the cute-but-annoying way that kids do. Ugh. She's still cute though :)
Well, I have more to say, but it is kinda random, doesn't really fit today's "theme" so I will save it for later, maybe even tonight if I get home at a decent hour!

I Hate Potty Training Already
So I bought Chelsea some big girl panties yesterday (the second time at the store). She is not too keen on putting them on though! I forced her to wear them this morning, but then she insisted on sitting on the toilet all morning....not peeing. As soon as we gave up and went back downstairs, she told me she needed to pee again, so I tried to get her to sit ont he living-room-potty, no dice, she must use the big toilet. But she still didn't pee!! ACK!! I have to leave for work shortly, and she is going to the sitters, do I just put her diaper on? They are walking over to the park, so yeah, I guess diaper it is. Oh the joys of potty training, I hate it already.
Say hi if you are reading this, feedback is ALWAYS welcome, potty training advice is good too, lol!

Terrible Two's
Chelsea and I went to Walmart today, in search of some big girl panites (don't ask how potty training is going--it's NOT going) and she threw a fit. Now she *is* two, so yeah, that is to be expected, but she is usually good in stores. I threatened to leave if she didn't settle down, and she refused, so we left the store. All the way home, she asked where we were going, I told her "home" cause she acted like a baby. Who did I actually punish, her, or myself? I left a cart full of stuff we needed, right there in the middle of the aisle.
