Oops...

I wasn't posting cause I was so busy not potty training my daughter! I am such a loser, I am soooo excited to see that someone actually read my blog! Woo hoo, thanks "Mom Unscripted"...I would totally link you, but can't seem to find your site....will keep trying though!

So the week flew by. Tuesday we had a playdate with my sister in law and her daughter, then wednesday I worked all day, the thursday it was off to the library for story time and crafts, the friday it was a party for the library group for the end of season. Is it mean that I am glad it is over (for now)? It's great and all, but I just think Chelsea is too young to really get it, you know? She LOVES the crafts, but won't sit with the kids for story time. Eh, she's 2, who cares! It starts up again in September (the end, I think) so we will have to see when the time comes.

She learned to ask "why" the other day. I mean, the kid has MAD vocab skills, but she finally discovered how to use "why" in the cute-but-annoying way that kids do. Ugh. She's still cute though :)

Well, I have more to say, but it is kinda random, doesn't really fit today's "theme" so I will save it for later, maybe even tonight if I get home at a decent hour!

I Hate Potty Training Already

So I bought Chelsea some big girl panties yesterday (the second time at the store). She is not too keen on putting them on though! I forced her to wear them this morning, but then she insisted on sitting on the toilet all morning....not peeing. As soon as we gave up and went back downstairs, she told me she needed to pee again, so I tried to get her to sit ont he living-room-potty, no dice, she must use the big toilet. But she still didn't pee!! ACK!! I have to leave for work shortly, and she is going to the sitters, do I just put her diaper on? They are walking over to the park, so yeah, I guess diaper it is. Oh the joys of potty training, I hate it already.

Say hi if you are reading this, feedback is ALWAYS welcome, potty training advice is good too, lol!

Terrible Two's

Chelsea and I went to Walmart today, in search of some big girl panites (don't ask how potty training is going--it's NOT going) and she threw a fit. Now she *is* two, so yeah, that is to be expected, but she is usually good in stores. I threatened to leave if she didn't settle down, and she refused, so we left the store. All the way home, she asked where we were going, I told her "home" cause she acted like a baby. Who did I actually punish, her, or myself? I left a cart full of stuff we needed, right there in the middle of the aisle.

So...

I am new to this. I love reading Mommy blogs, so I thought I'd start my own. Like it or leave it, simlpe as that.
